Job summary

Linden Woods Village in Gladstone, MO is seeking a dedicated Culinary/Dietary Aide to join our caring team. The Dietary Aide / Server helps provide nutritious meals and creates a warm, restaurant-style dining experience for residents and guests.

Shifts include full-time and part-time positions with various hours. We offer health, dental, vision plans, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, holiday pay, tuition assistance, and a supportive, family-based work culture.

Qualifications

• Dietary Aide/Server preferred high school diploma or GED, not required.
• ServSafe certification encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
• Follow written and oral instructions, follow diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
• Ensuring that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special request or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
• Perform defined work routines.
• Assist with cleaning routines after meals have ended and setting up for next meal.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Attend scheduled department meetings.
• Attend educational programs.
• Follow defined safety codes while performing duties.
• Follow Infection Control procedures.
• Understand community’s fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
• Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
