Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Must possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Dept. of Health.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision capabilities.
• Strong written and oral communication with management and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with extreme temperatures and cooking environments.
• Work indoors primarily, with potential outdoor event duties.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, delivering high-quality, attractively presented meals on time.
• Maintain health protocols, proper hygiene, sanitary food prep, and safe food temperatures.
• Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences; participate in resident orientations.
