Job summary

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network's Strabane Trails Village in Washington, PA is seeking a Culinary Coordinator for full-time, hourly, rotating shifts. You will direct the back-of-house operations, interview and onboard staff, and oversee scheduling, purchasing, and food preparation with hands-on cooking, sanitation, and nutritional care.

This role requires at least three years of dining services experience, a high school diploma, leadership ability, and familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years’ Dining Services/Restaurant experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with scratch cooking.
  • Experience in an independent or assisted living community preferred depending on location of position.
  • Experience managing a POS system and resident market preferred depending on location of position.
  • Serve Save Certified preferred; must complete within 3 months of hire.
  • Basic computer skills including regular usage of Microsoft 365 and electronic menu planning software. Must be able to communicate by email with leadership.
  • Be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with residents, resident families, and team members.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to support, advise, coach, and influence others.

Culinary Coordinator – Strabane Trails Village

Washington, PA – Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; Rotating shifts; 40 hours per week

Starting Pay: $20.31/hour - $24.00/hour; Depending on experience

Requirements For The Culinary Coordinator
