Market of Choice in Bend, OR is hiring cooks to join a friendly, professional team in a modern kitchen. Starting pay is $19.00/hour to $21.50/hour, with growth opportunities up to $25.00/hour based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and a matching 401(k).

You will report to the Kitchen Manager and contribute to a clean, efficient operation. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of professional cooking experience, are 18+, and available for any shift including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities.
• Coordinate timing of orders and production schedules with the Chef/Kitchen Manager.
• Prepare sandwich, salad, entree, catering trays, and soups for hot and cold cases.
• Handle counter work during busy periods.
• Deliver assigned orders and other orders as needed.
• Assist with ordering and inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products.
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
• Prepare deep fried, baked, stove top foods, and salads.
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees.
• Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
