Job summary

The Pearl at East Cobb is seeking a Cook to join their dining team in Marietta, GA. The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and handles all food preparation in line with standardized recipes and production sheets.

You will ensure sanitation, safety, and quality, prepare special diets as directed, organize workflow, and maintain accurate records and temperatures. A high school diploma and SERV Safe certification are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation and dietary considerations.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in all work areas.
• Monitor temperatures and quality of prepared foods.
• Follow all policies and regulatory procedures.
