Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing foods and drinks.
• Serves and replenishes food supply.
• Cleans cafeteria and kitchen areas, including tables, trash, floors, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and garbage cans.
• Prepares cafeteria for meals: hot carts, food rotation, utensils, napkins, trays, scoops.
• Cleans and maintains floors in walk-in and kitchen areas; cleans drains and major equipment on schedule.
• Removes trash and recyclables to collection areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Culinary Services Director.

Your contributions directly support our mission of providing quality behavioral healthcare in a compassionate environment.Position Summary:The Culinary Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, silverware, pots and pans etc. Sanitizing trash containers, food carts, utility carts, cleaning and sanitizing dish room area and any other general cleaning duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assists in preparing foods and drinks.Serves and replenishes food supply.Cleans cafeteria and/or kitchen areas, which includes: wiping down tables, placing trays in the proper location, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping floors, loading dishwashers cleaning refrigerators and freezers, cleaning ovens, and putting garbage cans in proper locations.Prepares cafeteria for meals, which includes: placing food in hot carts, rotating foods, preparing and monitoring the availability of utensils and napkins, preparing trays, placing scoops and/or spoons for serving.Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.Cleans and maintains floors in walk-in and kitchen areas. Cleans all drains in kitchen.
