Role Overview

The Culinary Assistant / Server provides meal service to residents, ensuring sanitary conditions and respectful, timely service by coordinating with team members. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving menu choices cheerfully and respectfully
  • Adhering to portion control standards
  • Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, tables, and equipment
  • Operating equipment safely and properly
  • Preparing menu items as assigned
  • Monitoring and labeling menu items
  • Storing leftovers according to standards
  • Organizing work schedules for timely service
  • Operating dishwashing equipment
  • Accepting vendor deliveries and storing items appropriately
  • Operating the point of sale system, if applicable
