Job summary

Lifespark Senior Living's Carver Ridge location is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to help prepare and serve meals for residents, families and staff, promoting resident well-being.

Part-time, on-site with varied shifts (AM 7am-2pm; PM 4pm-7pm). HS diploma preferred; senior living experience helpful; advanced computer skills required. Lifespark benefits apply.

• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families and staff.
• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour beverages and assist in food preparation.
• Transport carts, deliver trays and nourishments, maintain clean utensils and dishes.
• Scrub, soak and wash soiled dishes.
• Work at a steady pace to ensure adequate supply.

Education

We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 70-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Position: Culinary Assistant/Server
Hourly: $15.50/hour - $20.50/hour, depending on experience
Service Area:920 6th Street West, Carver, MN 55315
Schedule: various shifts available; AM's (7am-2pm) or weekends: PM's (4pm-7pm)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

In this position, you will beresponsible forassisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being. Duties include:

• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.
