Job summary

Raintree Village is seeking an Assistant to the Culinary Director to support mealtime experiences for residents, families, and staff. You will help prepare, present, and distribute meals with five-star service and assist where needed across culinary roles.

The role requires clinical and cooking experience, ServSafe certification, and progress toward a Certified Dietary Manager’s course to comply with regulations. Expect teamwork, weekends, and holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Working towards a Certified Dietary Manager’s course to meet state and federal care regulations.
• Clinical experience and cooking experience are required.
• ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper sanitation procedures for food preparation and storage and maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
• Assist Culinary Director with food purchasing and storage management, and with meal production and timely service.
• Develop standardized recipes and modify diets as needed; supervise dietary functions and training of staff.
