White Lodging is launching an entry-level cook program designed for recent culinary graduates or career changers to gain hands-on training in a professional hotel kitchen. No prior restaurant experience is required, with structured learning across core cooking duties.

You will learn basic kitchen practices, follow safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to cost controls while advancing through opportunities across our premium properties.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen knowledge and readiness to learn
• Foundational cooking skills in multiple techniques
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred but not required, training provided

Responsibilities

• Train as a Culinarian — learn and practice full duties of a professional cook in a structured program
• Follow F&B procedures, health dept regulations, and federal food safety guidelines
• Practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Assist in maintaining food cost and labor cost standards
• Check ingredient freshness; follow recipes and portion-use records
• Monitor guest feedback scores and work to improve rankings
• Foster cooperation and respect among coworkers
