Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Culinary Aide / Wait Staff to join our vibrant, not-for-profit retirement community in Ohio. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals to residents, maintaining a sanitary kitchen, and providing exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and staff.

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred; Experience: 0-2 years in food service within a long-term care environment preferred. PPE provided and strict infection control measures are in place.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in food service within a Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to residents, guests, and colleagues.
• Prepare and set up of all menu items according to standards.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous, timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and nursing to meet resident needs.
