Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is hiring a Culinary Aide / Wait Staff to join our not-for-profit retirement community. The role covers full-time days and part-time evenings (3:30pm–7:30pm) and focuses on preparing and serving quality meals to residents and staff in a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include excellent resident service, teamwork with nursing and dietary staff, and maintaining clean, safe kitchen areas in accordance with standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 0-2 years in food service within a Long Term Care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service to residents, partners, and guests.
• Prepare and set up menu items according to standards.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous, timely manner.
• Maintain the kitchen and sanitation to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with dietary personnel and other departments.
