Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Server for Aster Place Assisted Living in Lafayette, IN. This role offers part-time day and evening shifts, including weekend options, supporting residents with nutritious meals and ensuring a clean dining environment.

You will work with culinary leaders, assist with meal prep and service, and help maintain a sanitary kitchen while delivering compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification, if available (can be earned on the job).

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Assist in meal preparation and portioning according to menu and diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Coordinate with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
