Job summary

Todd Dickey Nursing & Rehabilitation in Leavenworth, IN is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide for daytime shifts. You will assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious meals.

You will collaborate with culinary leaders to meet residents' dietary needs, help with portions, set up trays, and support dishwashing and sanitation efforts.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (can be earned while employed)

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
