Job summary

PureHealth is hiring a Culinary Aide for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assist in food preparation, service, and ensuring safety standards while supporting the kitchen team to provide nutritious meals to residents.

You will follow dietary plans, maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, and collaborate with dietary staff and residents to ensure timely, appetizing meals. Weekend and holiday shifts are required in a 24/7 post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Comfort with basic math and weights/measures.
• Proven reliability and ability to follow dietary instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food items including salads, vegetables, desserts, and other menu items as directed.
• Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Communicate effectively with residents regarding meal preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and dietary staff to maintain cleanliness and organization.
