Ngegha Beginner Childcare Provider in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Caregiver who brings warmth and reliability to caring for young children. You will support daily routines, supervise play, and foster learning in a safe, nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate loves early childhood development, communicates well with families, holds CPR/First Aid certification (or is willing to obtain it), and can pass a DC background check while thriving in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass a background check in DC childcare regulations
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable with a team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, hands-on care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Support daily routines including feeding, nap time, hygiene, and age-appropriate activities.
• Plan and assist with developmentally appropriate play and learning activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe environment at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily updates.
• Monitor children's behavior and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all childcare policies, safety protocols, and licensing regulations.
