Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Portland, OR is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support embedded hardware design and CUAS system testing in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

You will perform surface mount soldering, circuit debugging, and harness design, collaborating with a diverse engineering team to advance new and existing products.

The role requires hands-on electronics experience, ability to read schematics, and willingness to travel quarterly as needed.

Qualifications

• Printed Circuit Board soldering and rework experience.
• Electronic test equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems, cables, enclosure design, circuit assembly.
• Understanding of basic Embedded Engineering design principles – PCB layout, circuit design, microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Electrical Engineering team to support embedded hardware design and troubleshooting, building CUAS systems.
• Soldering and reworking fine pitch electrical components.
• Evaluate schematic and circuit board layout in CAD programs such as Altium.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in prototype and production environments.
