Job summary

Irvington Public Schools is seeking ten Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) Advisors for programs including Army JROTC, Accounting, Culinary, Cosmetology and Entrepreneurship. Positions are based at Irvington High School and Rita L. Owens STEAM Academy, with duties after school hours and responsibilities beyond the standard contract.

The program runs district-wide, with 30 hours per CTSO Advisor. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, and compensation is provided as a stipend

Qualifications

• Certified teacher, school counselor, or technology coach.
• Afterschool/outsider of contractual hours experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registering students, preparing them for competitions, and attending competitions.
