Job summary

Telecom Trust Consulting is seeking a CTO – Telecom to lead the company’s telecom strategy, architecture and operational development. You will own relationships with host MNOs, wholesale partners and core-network vendors, ensuring a robust, scalable and compliant platform.

This is a senior, hands-on role spanning architecture, vendor management, negotiations and technical execution. You will guide onboarding, testing, production launches and service operations, while defining KPIs and driving

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mobile telecommunications, preferably with operators or telecom platforms.
• Proven experience managing host-operator, wholesale and technology-vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of mobile-core and telecom architecture (4G/5G, IMS, APIs).
• Experience leading complex technical integrations and production launches.
• Understanding of telecom commercial models and KPIs.
• Experience in regulated and security-sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

About the Company

The company is an AI-native telecommunications company developing secure APIs based on mobile-network signals.

Their platform supports messaging, digital identity, silent authentication, fraud prevention, SIM-swap detection and network intelligence. We work with host mobile network operators, wholesale carriers and telecom technology vendors to deliver programmable network services internationally.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced CTO – Telecom to lead the telecommunications strategy, architecture and operational development of the company.

You will own the relationship with host MNOs, wholesale partners and core-network vendors, ensuring that the platform is technically robust, scalable, secure, compliant and commercially viable.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining telecom architecture, vendor management, partner negotiations and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the telecom strategy and target architecture.


• Lead relationships with host MNOs, wholesale carriers and strategic telecom partners.


• Manage the selection, integration and performance of core-network, signaling, messaging, IMS and API vendors.


• Oversee mobile-core, HLR/HSS/UDM, authentication, SMS, SS7, Diameter, IMS, eSIM and network-API capabilities.


• Lead technical onboarding, testing, production launch and service operations.


• Define and monitor KPIs covering availability, delivery, latency, authentication and network reachability.


• Support commercial negotiations, business cases, pricing and enterprise customer onboarding.


• Ensure compliance with telecom regulation, GDPR, cybersecurity and data-protection requirements.


• Build a scalable operating model for expansion into additional markets and operator networks.

Requirements

• Significant experience in mobile telecommunications, preferably with an MNO, MVNO, MVNE, wholesale carrier or telecom-platform provider.


• Proven experience managing host-operator, wholesale and technology-vendor relationships.


• Strong knowledge of mobile-core and telecom architecture, including 4G, 5G, VoLTE, HLR/HSS/UDM, SMS, SS7, SIGTRAN, Diameter, IMS and APIs.


• Experience leading complex technical integrations and production launches.


• Understanding of telecom commercial models, wholesale agreements and operational KPIs.


• Experience in regulated and security-sensitive environments.


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

Experience with CAMARA, GSMA Open Gateway, silent authentication, SIM-swap prevention, 5G Core, fintech or digital identity will be highly valued.

Success in the Role

You will be expected to establish the telecom architecture, secure the required operator and vendor relationships, launch reliable services, implement appropriate operational governance and create a scalable model for international growth.
