Job summary

DRW seeks a technically exceptional and commercially minded CTO to lead Derivnex, DRW’s on-chain OTC derivatives platform. This role defines the technical vision, leads platform architecture, and scales distributed systems for production institutional markets.

You will work with trading, operations, legal, and external counterparties to build secure, regulator-ready infrastructure for OTC derivatives. Prior leadership in capital markets and privacy-enabled blockchains is essential.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of OTC derivatives and post-trade lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of collateral management and settlement workflows.
• Expertise in blockchain technology, distributed systems, and smart-contract infrastructure.
• Experience with crypto payments and digital asset infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of high-performance engineering teams and scalable platforms.
• Security architecture, cryptography, and resilient financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy and engineering roadmap for Derivnex platform.
• Oversee distributed ledger infrastructure and DAML systems on Canton.
• Build secure, scalable systems for real-time collateral, margin, settlement, and lifecycle events.
• Direct engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, legal, and risk to translate workflows into on-chain infra.
• Drive platform security, governance, and auditability.
• Represent Derivnex with counterparties and industry stakeholders.
