We are launching a new AI-driven project, backed by an initial round of funding, and were looking for a CTO Associate to lead the technical vision and development from the ground up.

As part of the founding team, youll play a key role in shaping the product, building the first version, and assembling a talented engineering team. If youre passionate about AI, love solving technical challenges, and want to be part of an ambitious early-stage venture, wed love to talk!

Responsibilities

• Define & Execute the Tech Vision : Architect, build, and scale a robust AI-powered platform.
• Fullstack Development Leadership : Lead hands-on development across the stack (React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS) while laying the foundation for a high-performing tech team.
• AI & Automation : Leverage the latest AI models and automation tools to optimize workflows and enhance product capabilities.
• Product & Business Alignment : Work closely with the founding team to translate business goals into scalable technology.
• Recruit & Lead the Engineering Team : Build and mentor a world-class engineering team as the company scales.
• Scalability & Security : Implement best practices for infrastructure, data security, and DevOps.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay ahead of tech trends and introduce innovative solutions to enhance development efficiency.

Requirements

• YC Alumni is a Plus : Experience as a CTO or technical leader in a Y Combinator-backed startup.
• Experience : 7+ years in software development, with experience leading projects or teams.
• Technical Expertise : Strong skills in fullstack development with React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• AI & ML Experience : Hands-on experience with AI / ML models, NLP, data pipelines, or automation tools is a plus.
• Startup Mindset : Passion for building from scratch, thriving in ambiguity, and executing with speed.
• Leadership & Communication : Ability to build and inspire a technical team while aligning with business strategy.
