Krane is building the AI-native operating system for construction supply chains — agentic systems that automate procurement, eliminate surprises, and deliver predictive intelligence across projects. As CTO, you’ll lead the charge in building this future: architecting the platform, hiring and mentoring a world-class AI and engineering team, and driving the transition from SaaS with AI features to truly AI-native workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technology vision and execution. Define and evolve Krane’s technical roadmap across AI, data, and platform infrastructure.

• Lead, hire, and scale the engineering org. Build and mentor a high-performing AI and product engineering team capable of rapid, reliable delivery.

• Prototype and ship. Work hands-on with LLMs, agent frameworks, and modern AI stacks to quickly validate ideas and bring new capabilities into production.

• Architect for reliability and scale. Design robust cloud and data infrastructure in partnership with DevOps/MLOps to support multi-agent workflows.

• Shape product direction. Collaborate closely with the CEO, Product, and UX to turn complex construction workflows into elegant, AI-driven user experiences.

• Stay ahead of the curve. Continuously assess and integrate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, multimodal, voice interfaces) relevant to Krane’s platform.

• Represent technology leadership. Serve as a visible, credible thought partner to investors, customers, and the board.
