Job summary

Myers Park High School is seeking a Teacher, CTE Technology Education (PLTW) to lead PLTW-based courses in a state-approved lab setting. The position is full-time and spans a 10-month academic year, with duties including planning, instruction, and student assessment in a Charlotte, North Carolina environment.

The ideal candidate will implement PLTW curriculum, collaborate with staff, and maintain classroom safety and program quality in line with district policies.

Qualifications

• Requires NC teaching certification and full-time, 10-month assignment.
• Experience with PLTW and technology education preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement PLTW curriculum and labs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PLTW-based CTE Tech Ed instruction in a lab setting.
• Plan and implement a program of study for trade and industrial digital manufacturing and design.
• Assess and monitor student progress and maintain IEP/504 records as required.
• Collaborate with administration to enforce policies and create engaging classroom environments.
