Qualifications

• Knowledge of emerging trends in digital manufacturing and design.
• Knowledge of computer generated technology and electronics.
• Knowledge of Common Core and NC Essential Standards.
• Knowledge of CMS policies, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans related to trade and industry digital manufacturing and design.
• Works directly with students in the fabrication laboratory (FabLab) to design and develop prototype models.
• Teaches students how to use software, machines and safety procedures; assists in fabrication and design phases.
• Maintains lab equipment and inventory of materials.
• Uses classroom management techniques to maintain an effective climate.
• Promotes critical, creative and innovative thinking in students.
• Takes safety precautions to protect students and facilities.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
