Job summary

Amergis Staffing is seeking a qualified CTE/General Education teacher to support students in Newberry, SC on a travel assignment. The position involves delivering instruction, maintaining classroom management, and collaborating with school staff to ensure high-quality educational services for kindergarten through fifth grade.

The role requires a valid state teaching license, a bachelor’s degree, and compliance with FERPA/HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Valid state teaching license and/or certificate/endorsement as required by state.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet FERPA and HIPAA requirements.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
