Job summary

South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette, LA seeks an Admissions Recruiter/Entry Advising role to recruit, advise, and guide prospective students through enrollment processes. You will plan events, maintain recruitment communications, and collaborate with Financial Aid and Institutional Advancement to provide accurate information.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with experience in admissions or outreach. Travel and after-hours work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or three years of work-related admissions experience.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and weekends.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to learn Banner, Recruiter, and other college software.
• Excellent communication and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and host recruitment events on campus and in external locations.
• Advise prospective students through admissions and enrollment processes.
• Maintain and distribute recruitment and enrollment reports.
• Coordinate with Financial Aid and Institutional Advancement on offerings.
• Travel as needed to support recruitment activities.
