Job summary

Bastrop ISD is seeking a CTE Program Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year at the Bastrop Service Center. This grant-funded paraprofessional position supports district CTE operations, field trips, and work-based learning activities while ensuring safety and compliance.

The candidate will assist with inventory, equipment maintenance, testing coordination, and coordination with students, teachers, and partners. Immediate start and non-exempt status reflect the district's needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily CTE operations and implementation of district initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for CTE events, field trips, and student experiences.
• Prepare and organize CTE materials, supplies, equipment, and resources.
• Support CTE inventory processes, including tracking and asset verification.
• Maintain lab and shop equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
