Job Summary

  • Perform specialized work in the area creating, managing databases, and reports related to FCCLA and Family Consumer Sciences (FCS) and Education and Training (ET) Program Specialist.
  • Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel is required for this position.

The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.

Job Duties

  • Compile programmatic data reports to meet requested need of the FCCLA State Adviser and/or FCS and ET
  • Maintain and coordinate with website administrator to ensure the FCCLA web page is updated and posted in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update the FCCLA membership portal and create statistical reports
  • Update and maintain guidelines materials
  • Perform administrative duties that support the FCCLA State Advisor; FCCLA activities, FCS, and ET program specialist, inclusive of, but not limited to phone management, email, and schedule assistance, maintaining records, generating reports, etc.
  • Assist the planning and coordination of meetings and conferences, including travel policies and procedures, printing policies and procedures
  • Develop, implement, and manage a procedure for identifying need, ordering, disseminating, storing, and keeping constant inventory of supplies for FCS and ET education and the FCCLA State Advisor
  • Conduct necessary research to answer investigative inquires to internal and external customers
  • Develop procedures as directed and/or needed for FCCLA in cooperation with CTE unit Deputy Associate Superintendent (DAS), Supervisor, FCCLA State Advisor, and FCS and ET education
  • Provide project management support in travel, procurement, federal and state reporting, database management and research for FCS and ET education and FCCLA State Advisor
  • Coordinate long range planning efforts for trainings, events, and sessions for the FCS and ET education and the FCCLA State Advisor
  • Provide support for FCCLA and FCS and ET education meetings by scheduling rooms and taking minutes to ensure that the proper information is documented and distributed
  • Prepare materials, maintain database, and distribute PD certificates for all FCCLA and FCS and ET workshops and events

Retirement
