Job summary

Holyoke High School Dean Campus seeks a Career Technical Education teacher for our Information Support Services and Networking pathway. The instructor will teach information technology, help desk, networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and related career pathways to develop skills and employability in students.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in ISSN, IT, CS, cybersecurity, networking, or related field preferred.
• Massachusetts CTE license in Information Support Services and Networking or eligibility.
• At least four years of full-time related employment experience.
• Passing scores on required ISSN credentials and CTE literacy skills.
• Knowledge of IT safety, OSHA practices, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud concepts.
• Ability to deliver competency-based, hands-on instruction aligned to standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach district-approved ISSN career pathways curriculum aligned to state standards.
• Support development of ISSN as a future Chapter 74-approved program.
• Collaborate with Programming and Web Development staff to align learning.
• Plan and deliver instruction in IT, help desk, hardware, OS, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud.
• Maintain records, safety, and communicate with families, counselors, and partners.
• Support work-based learning opportunities like internships and industry partnerships.
