The Night Ministry seeks a dedicated CTA Outreach Supervisor to lead the CTA-based outreach program in Chicago. You will ensure safety, quality, and consistency of services at CTA transit locations, while building trust with clients through trauma-informed, risk-reduction practices and supervising field staff.

Responsibilities include managing logistics, coordinating supplies and vehicle use, reviewing data for grant reporting, and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

• BA degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation.
• Ability to work in all Chicago neighborhoods.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive the Outreach Van.
• Physically able to be outdoors and mobile up to six hours in all weather.
• Flexible schedule for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Oversee CTA Outreach Program operations: staffing, planning, site coordination, shift execution, documentation and improvement.
• Develop standard CTA outreach workflows: shift prep, field roles, safety response, follow-up and closeout.
• Lead field teams as a supervisor and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct community needs assessments to inform program direction.
• Supervise outreach staff; approve timesheets and requests in a timely manner.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of staff and interns.
• Coordinate volunteers and partners; build community relationships.
• Be the safety lead during outreach and manage risk and rerouting as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
• Build client rapport using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed practices.
