Job Requirements:

• RT (R), CT, ARRT, and BLS certifications
• Ability to perform examinations as a CT Technologist on patients of all ages
• Competency in PACS processes and daily QA procedures
• Effective communication and excellent patient care skills
• Proficiency with all diagnostic technical equipment
• Use of radiation protection and shielding in compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Up-to-date vaccinations and passing health screenings, including drug screening and background checks

Job Responsibilities:

• Proper use and maintenance of CT equipment
• Performing CT examinations, including those requiring contrast agents
• Managing patients during complex CT procedures
• Following instructions and communicating effectively with patients and staff
• Labeling documents, resolving QA issues, and ensuring timely image release
• Adhering to radiation protection policies
• Assisting other technologists and radiologists as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform patient positioning and equipment adjustments
• Prolonged standing or walking during scans and patient movements
