Job summary

CoxHealth Barton County Hospital in Lamar, MO is seeking a radiology CT technologist to perform radiology and CT procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings, using advanced equipment to produce high-quality images while prioritizing patient welfare and comfort.

You will work with a dedicated team in a progressive Level III Stroke Center environment, with flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts and a focus on safety and accuracy in imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology.
• Associates Degree in Radiology preferred.
• CT Training Program completed or 1 year CT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology and CT imaging studies in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist with advanced procedures: CTA Head/Neck, CT Perfusion, CT Lung Cancer Screening, CT Calcium Scoring.

Job Summary

Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology/CT procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.

Perform a variety of radiology and CT imaging studies across inpatient and outpatient settings, while supporting advanced procedures, including:

• CTA Head/Neck
• CT Perfusion
• CT Lung Cancer Screening
• CT Calcium Scoring

You’ll work with advanced technology, including:

• GE 64 slice scanner
• GE and Samsung X-ray equipment
• EPIC EMR

Education:

• Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology

Experience:

• Required: Successful completion of a CT Training Program OR 1 Year CT experience
• Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience

• Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
• Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
