Role Description The CT/Xray Technologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Franklin, LA. This role is responsible for performing high-quality CT and general radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for imaging procedures, positioning patients and equipment, operating CT and Xray systems, and ensuring accurate capture of diagnostic images. The technologist reviews images for diagnostic quality, follows radiation safety standards, and collaborates closely with radiologists and other clinicians to support timely patient care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting procedures in the medical record, and contributing to a safe, respectful, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Professional certification and credentials: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and eligibility for state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Technical imaging expertise: Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology procedures, including CT and general Xray imaging techniques.
• Safety and clinical knowledge: Strong understanding of Radiation Safety principles and foundational knowledge of Medicine as it relates to diagnostic imaging.
• Education and experience: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; prior experience as a CT/Xray Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Patient care and communication: Ability to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care, communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams, and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, willingness to work rotating shifts or on-call as needed, and commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
