Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a CT/XRAY Technologist to perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist and obtain high-quality images for interpretation. The role requires proficiency in general radiography, laboratory procedures, and patient care in line with physician orders.

Under Family Centered Care principles, you will assist radiologists and other staff in diagnostic CT procedures, with float opportunities across Toledo-area facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology; ARRT registration required.
• Current ARRT registry.
• CPR certification required.
• MRI Resource Pool technologists must be MRI-registered upon hire with at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Obtain high-quality CT images for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Assist radiologists or staff physicians with diagnostic CT procedures as required.
• Proficiency in general radiography, laboratory procedures, and patient care per physician orders.

Job Summary

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT/XRAY Technologist performs various CT procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Obtains high quality images, which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologists or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic CT procedures whenever required. This position also requires proficiency in performing general radiography, laboratory procedures, and related patient care according to physician orders. Ensures decisions made are based on Family Centered Care philosophy.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree (or equivalent to become A.R.R.T registered). Must have completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
• Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
• Must have and maintain ODH registration with the State Medical Board.
• CPR required.
• Must be registered by the ARRT.
• MRI Resource Pool technologists are required to be MRI-registered upon hire and must have a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Certification: CPR certified Tier- based pay model is used, with compensation increasing at each tier.
