Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a CT/X-ray Technologist at Toledo Hospital. Under a radiologist, you will perform CT procedures, obtain high-quality images, and assist in diagnostic CT workups.

Responsibilities include general radiography, lab procedures, and patient care in a family-centered care environment. The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT registration, Ohio licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and CPR certified.
• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registry; must maintain Ohio Department of Health registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Acquire high-quality CT images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic CT procedures as needed.
• Perform general radiography, laboratory procedures, and related patient care.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT/XRAY Technologist performs various CT procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Obtains high quality images, which are interpreted by a radiologist in the evaluation of disease or abnormality. Assists radiologists or other staff physicians in the performance of diagnostic CT procedures whenever required. This position also requires proficiency in performing general radiography, laboratory procedures, and related patient care according to physician orders. Ensures decisions made are based on Family Centered Care philosophy.

Required Qualifications

• Education : Associate degree (or equivalent to become A.R.R.T registered).

• Must have completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

• Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). Must have and maintain ODH registration with the State Medical Board.

• CPR

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be registered by the ARRT. MRI Resource Pool technologists are required to be MRI‑registered upon hire and must have a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
