Job summary

UF Health in The Villages, FL is seeking a CT/X-ray Radiology Technologist to join a multi-modality imaging team. You will perform CT, X-ray and general radiology duties, follow established protocols, and strive to minimize radiation exposure while delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to multiple modalities: including CT or Xray and general Radiology Technologist duties.

The CT/Xray Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

   • Post High School Special Training
   
   
   • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
   
   
   • Cross-trained in Cat Scan
   
   
   
   


2. Licensure/Certification/Registration
   
   
   
   • State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred)
   
   
   • ARRT(R) required
