Your job is more than a job.

The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs radiographic procedures independently, utilizing technical skills and judgment to produce diagnostic images using ionizing radiation.

Sign on Bonus: $3500

Day to Day
GENERAL DUTIES
  • Provide clinical services according to radiology standards, demonstrating proficiency with CT/X-ray equipment and protocols.
  • Produce high-quality scans within appropriate timeframes and review scans with Radiologists.
  • Train and evaluate trainees, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Administer patient care, communicate effectively, and obtain clinical history and consent.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
  • Participate in quality control programs and adhere to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Complete ancillary tasks such as record keeping, charging procedures, and data entry in PACS/RIS.
  • Recognize emergencies, respond appropriately, and monitor patient vital signs and equipment.
Must Haves
  • Basic Life Support (CPR, BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Radiography Certification (ARRT) - ARRT
  • Radiology Technician Certification (ARRT) - Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners
Additional Information
  • Position is non-supervisory, full-time, with physical demands consistent with medium work.
  • Work shift is days, with physical requirements including standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities.
