Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquiring and analyzing data needed for diagnosis, interpretation, and performing interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. CT Technologists independently perform or assist licensed practitioners in completing computed tomography. They prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
