Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiology program, Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification (ARRT-), ARRT-CT preferred, and BLS. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Cross-trained in CT (Cat Scan) equipment and protocols.

Overview

This is a rotating schedule, candidates are required to work every other weekend, and be on a holiday/hurricane team.

Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. Under the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to multiple modalities: including CT or Xray and general Radiology Technologist duties.

The CT/XrayTechnologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.
