Job summary

United Medical Imaging Healthcare seeks a CT/X-ray Technologist for our Southern California facilities in Los Angeles and Orange County. You will perform CT scans and standard X-rays, contributing to efficient radiology department operations and patient care.

The ideal candidate has CT/X-ray experience, ARRT/AART certification, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills. Full-time and part-time roles with flexible hours are available. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT imaging to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Perform X-rays including extremities and spine regions.
• Assist with other imaging tests and ensure radiology department runs smoothly.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

We are large Imaging group, with 29 locations in Southern California -- Both Orange County and Los Angeles -- and proud leading providers of quality healthcare to the community. Our centers are equipped to treat diagnostics, traumatic, and life-threatening injuries, with caring and innovative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to enthusiastically improving the health and quality of life of the people we serve.

Looking for a professional and personable CT/X-Ray Technologist who will be conducting computed tomography as well as taking X-rays and other types of scans or imaging tests. Additional tasks associated with keeping the radiology department running may apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The candidate should be trained in the proper and safe handling of computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients internal organs and tissue as well as standard musculoskeletal x-rays, including extremities, as well as cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

Required Experience/ Education:

• At minimum, a high school diploma and completion a training program at an accredited school.
• MUST have current CPR and Venipuncture license.
• AART Certified with specific certification
• Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of one year of clinical CT/X-Ray experience.
• Fluoroscopy Permit
• CRT Permit from the State
• Good understanding of providing superior patient care; comfort, safety and
• confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers and management.
