Nextaff is seeking skilled CT and Radiology Technologists to perform diagnostic imaging in Lynwood, California. You will operate diagnostic equipment, prepare patients, and produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
• ARRT Certification (Radiography).
• Current BLS certification.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Operate CT scanners and digital X-ray equipment safely.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging.
• Verify patient information for proper documentation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and/or digital X‑ray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures.
• Produce high‑quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues.
• Adhere to all radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education.

• Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
• ARRT Certification (Radiography).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• For CT Technologist Applicants: ARRT (CT) Certification; minimum of one year of CT experience preferred; experience performing contrast‑enhanced CT examinations.
• For Radiologic Technologist Applicants: Experience in outpatient imaging, urgent care, or hospital settings preferred; Fluoroscopy Permit (if applicable).

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling options may include Day, Evening, or Night shifts.
• Weekends and Holidays as needed.
