Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders.
• Operate CT scanners, fixed X-ray equipment, and portable X-ray units safely and effectively.
• Provide C-arm imaging support in the operating room for pain injection procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and ensure proper positioning.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Review imaging requests and ensure examinations follow established protocols.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to imaging needs during assigned shifts and on-call periods.
• Maintain imaging equipment and follow departmental quality assurance procedures.

Salary: $70,720–$105,040 per year, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in a small, community-focused critical access hospital in southern Minnesota. This position involves performing CT scans and general X-ray procedures, as well as providing C-arm imaging support in the operating room for pain injection procedures.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a smaller hospital environment, supporting imaging needs across the hospital and emergency department, and participating in rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to a small-hospital environment.
• Salary: $70,720–$105,040 annually, based on experience.
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Weekend Coverage: Rotating Friday, Saturday, and Sunday coverage, with on-call responsibility until 7:00 AM the following morning; weekend call coverage extends through Monday at 7:00 AM.
• Call Requirements: On-call coverage is part of the weekend rotation.
• Holiday Rotation: Rotating holiday coverage.
• Overtime: Paid after 48 hours, according to the stated position terms and applicable policy.
• Meals: Complimentary meals available three times daily, including weekends.
• Dress Code: No specific scrub color requirements.
