Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose Sloan's Lake Freestanding ER in Denver is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our radiology team. The position is Thursday–Saturday, 0630–1830, with X-ray, CT procedures, and cross-training as required.

You will perform CT and X-Ray procedures for patients from newborn to adult, maintain high standards per Joint Commission, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment. ARRT certification in Radiography and CT plus BLS are required; one year of diagnostic experience

Qualifications

• Solid to expert knowledge of diagnostic procedures including x-rays and Portables.
• Registered radiologic technologist with current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One-year diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Vocational School Graduate

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
• Prioritize and promote quality patient care in line with facility standards.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Joint Commission regulations.
• Demonstrate independent critical thinking and willingness to cross-train to other modalities.

$2.00 weekend differential for Saturday shifts.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT and X-Ray procedures. X-ray procedures include basic x-rays, fluoroscopy, C-Arms & OR Procedures and Portables. Communicates and works independently in performing all CT and X-Ray procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritize, provides and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision and Values of the facility. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with Joint Commission regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees as outlined in HealthONE’s Standards of Behavior. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions. Must be willing to cross-train to one or more modalities as required.

What qualifications you will need:
