Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Louisville is seeking a CT Technologist to perform specialized CT scans in a long-term acute care setting. You will operate CT equipment, ensure radiation safety, position patients, administer contrast, and support radiologists.

The role includes training new staff, maintaining accurate patient records, and working 8am–8pm with rotating weekends. Located in the Original Highlands area, the hospital offers a collaborative team and convenient access to downtown

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program or CT course.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and/or CT; must meet state requirements.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of diagnostic radiology or imaging experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans and load/operate power injections.
• Provide care for patients undergoing CT scans and optimize dose.
• Record patient dose and contrast administration; maintain accurate records.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures when applicable.
• Provide orientation and training for new CT technologists.
