Job summary

Kindred Hospital Louisville is seeking a CT Technologist responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients, and ensuring image quality and safety. The role requires ARRT radiography and preferably CT certification, with BLS on file and a radiography degree.

One year of radiology experience is preferred. You will collaborate with radiologists and support staff, manage contrast administration, and contribute to maintaining accurate patient records and procedural charges.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiography program.
• Completion and passing of CT course or CT program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required; BLS certification.
• One year of radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Position patients and prepare them for CT procedures.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Administer oral contrast and manage contrast media delivery.
• Document patient dose, procedures, and charges.
• Assist radiologist with CT procedures when needed.
• Provide orientation/training to new CT technologists.
