Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Radiology Technician in Bend, OR to perform CT and X-Ray examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology program, ARRT registration, CT State license, and BLS certification. Proficiency with RIS/PACS and strong communication are essential for collaboration with Radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' radiology experience.
• Graduate of accredited Radiology program.
• Licensed by CT State DEP.
• Registered by ARRT.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification preferred.
• Proficient RIS and PACS systems.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray examinations per protocols to produce optimal results.
• Communicate with Radiologist and verify provider orders.
• Take patient history and document relevant information.
• Maintain room cleanliness and infection control standards.
• Operate CT, X-Ray, and imaging equipment safely.
• Prioritize and organize work and adjust to changing situations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to minimize anxiety.
