Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The role supports physicians and nurses and ensures accurate results are communicated to on-duty staff.

Qualifications include ARRT radiography certification and CT certification; CRP/PACS experience is essential, with ER and CT experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.
• Associate's degree in Radiology, preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing.
• Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography required.
• Registered Technologist with ARRT in computed tomography, preferred, with exceptions
• CT certification required (Las Vegas Market).
• CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market).
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of CT experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and other staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; notify physician on duty of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under direction of physician/nurse on duty.
• Maintain documentation, logs, charts, forms in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and other required meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
