Job summary

PrideGlobal, a respected healthcare employer, seeks a CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform CT and general X-ray imaging in a small community hospital in southern Minnesota. The role includes C-arm imaging in the operating room and participation in rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT and BLS certifications, with experience in CT and X-ray procedures and familiarity with intraoperative imaging. On-site day shifts with weekend on-call responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience performing CT and general X-ray procedures.
• C-arm experience or familiarity with intraoperative imaging preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols.
• Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small-hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders.
• Operate CT scanners, fixed X-ray equipment, and portable X-ray units safely and effectively.
• Provide C-arm imaging support in the operating room for pain injection procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and ensure proper positioning.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
• Review imaging requests and ensure examinations follow established protocols.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to imaging needs during assigned shifts and on-call periods.
• Maintain imaging equipment and follow departmental quality assurance procedures.
