Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital is hiring a Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist to join our team on a full-time night shift (Tuesday–Thursday, 7pm–7am). The role focuses on CT and X-ray imaging while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified in radiography, with CT certification within a year, BLS within 3 months, and at least one year of imaging experience across multiple modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT registered as Radiologic Technologist; CT certification within 12 months.
• BLS certification within 3 months of start.
• Experience with multiple imaging modalities; hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging with appropriate technique and positioning.
• Obtain and document clinical history and consent; communicate with physicians.
• Apply radiation protection and shielding for patient safety.
• Maintain sterile, organized, and well-supplied imaging rooms.
• Conduct routine QC testing and assist with equipment maintenance.
