Job summary

Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce high-quality digital images in an efficient manner while applying growth and development knowledge to care for patients across the lifespan. The role requires proficiency with CT equipment, power injectors, advanced workstations and PACS.

Qualified applicants will have 1-3 years of experience, an Associate's Degree, and Maryland licensure or eligibility, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a JRCERT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology is required
• Maryland Radiographer license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• CT - CAT scan within 18 months of hire - Preferred / Credential Note: R.T.(R), NMTCB(CT), or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of optimal quality digital images in an efficient manner
• Uses knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient’s age (adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure care meets patient needs
• Knowledge of CT equipment including scanners, power injectors, advanced work stations and software for reformatting images
• Provides patient care utilizing a Radiology-based program and PACS

Summary

Is responsible for the production of optimal quality digital images in an efficient manner while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age (adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Has a full knowledge of all equipment within CT such as but not limited to scanners, power injectors, advanced work stations and software applications for reformatting images. Provides patient care utilizing a Radiology based program and Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS).

Pay Range: $39.00 to $58.80 Based On Experience
